Architect Project Manager

Qualifications:
- NYS licensed architect or architecture Project Manager.
- Bachelor or Master degree of architecture.
- 3 - 7 or more years of architecture project management experience from design to completion.
- Strong working knowledge with REVIT and AutoCAD. Other program knowledge includes; Sketch-up, Nutech, Adobe Creative Suites, Microsoft Office.. Solid Works is a plus.
- Strong leadership skills to work independently or as a collaborative team member to create designs.
- Lead the preparation of construction documents and the efficient integration of the drawings with sub-consultants through completion of the project.
- Able to manage budgets, adhere to schedules and deadlines.
- Determine and ensure all municipal and building codes and requirements for approvals are met.
- Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- LEED certification and/or experience a plus.
- Hands-on construction and/or construction management experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate the project delivery and documentation process during the SD, DD, and CD phases.
- Lead in-house design team and/or design projects independently, from initial consultation through design development and construction.
- Ensure all projects are accurately planned, budgeted, scheduled and in conformance with the intended design and all municipal and building codes & requirements.
- Develop detailed project schedules and communicate key deliverable dates to the project team.
- Oversee projects from design and approval phases, while working closely with subcontractors and suppliers through the build.
- Identify new business opportunities while developing current client relationships.
- Participate in selected marketing and business development opportunities.
- Identify and propose technical solutions to design challenges.

Architecture Sr. Project Manager

The ideal candidate will be a mirror image of our high-performance corporate characteristics and dedication to design quality from inception through completion of all projects with a personal passion for green and sustainability focus. This unique opportunity requires an individual who has a broad range of architecture experience, dedicated to providing clients with strong and creative, architecture and construction designs. Qualifications:
- NYS licensed architect. Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in architecture.
- 7-10 years architecture project management experience from inception through to completion of construction.
- REVIT; 3 years minimum, full working knowledge, AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Nutech, Adobe Creative Suites, Microsoft Office. Solid Works is a plus.
- Strong research skills required.
- Commitment to green and sustainable designs; LEED working knowledge and design experience.
- Able to work collaboratively with all team members to create designs, lead the preparation of construction documents, and the efficient integration of the work with sub-consultants through completion of the project.
- Self-directed, extremely organized with the ability to focus on the task with minimal supervision.
- Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment, multi-task, delegate, plan, set goals, meet critical deadlines, be accurate, work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Possess strong leadership, teams building and conflict resolution/negotiation skills.
- Solid technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Hands-on construction experience is a plus.
- Able to work closely with the client and present the project through various stages with full confidence.
Responsibilities:
- Leads in-house design team from initial consultation through design development and construction, including full documentation process.
- Manage all phases of one or more projects. Direct the project team in the proper steps and procedures to complete the work as planned, budgeted, scheduled and in conformance with the intended design.
- Oversee code compliance with applicable codes, standards, and guidelines. Direct and train project architects and interns relative to these.
- Support project management with development of staffing, fee, budget estimating, and project scheduling.
- Plan, organize, and manage the work of the project team.
- Communicate with consultants, contractors, sub-consultants, and other disciplines to ensure project details are carried out, including technical issues and project information.
- Ensure that production of construction documents is in concert with the design of the project.
- Develop detailed project schedule and communicate key deliverable dates to project team.
- Ensure project documentation complies with client contracts.
- Responsible for maintaining client relationships throughout the project including keeping client apprised of project on a regular basis.
- Identify new business opportunities while developing current client relationships.
- Participate in selected marketing and business development opportunities.

Architect Construction Manager

Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
- Must have hands-on experience with multiple trades; framing, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, concrete, etc.
- Minimum 2-5 years residential construction management experience.
- Thorough knowledge of general construction and estimating.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment running multiple jobs that are in different phases of construction, simultaneously.
- Intermediate knowledge of local and state building codes and permit requirements.
- Ability to read, understand and organize construction plans and specifications.
- Must be computer literate with a strong basic to advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office as well as the ability to learn new cloud-based software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail is crucial.
- Must have reliable transportation along with a clear, valid, NYS driver’s license.
- Ability to read, understand and organize construction plans and specifications for sustainable, high-efficiency and Green assemblies to include; residential, light commercial, municipal and spiritual.
- A professional with excellent judgment and intuitive skills.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct meetings with subcontractors to determine timelines, permits needed and set expectations.
- Provide management and support to subcontractors to keep the job moving and ensure timelines are being met.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, internal and external contacts throughout the project management process.
- Responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all assigned projects, reconstruction, materials procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance as well as providing any changes and updates as needed.
- Work closely with occupants and property owners throughout the process to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Follow scope of the project and notify Project Director/Senior Manager of any discrepancies.
- Identify challenges, problems and client concerns and provide solutions.
- Foster positive relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors and vendors.
- Ensure that subs have all the information and support they need to perform their tasks efficiently.
- Order and/or ensure subs order all materials in a timely manner in order to avoid delays and meet all critical deadlines.
