Architecture - Project Manager

Alfandre Architecture is seeking an Architecture - Project Manager to fill an immediate opening. We are a premiere leader in our field
with a first-class reputation. Situated in the heart of the Hudson Valley, we are located in the picturesque town of New Paltz, NY. We
provide complete architecture and planning services from design to building for a variety of project types to include; commercial,
municipal, residential, master planning and visioning while adhering to our green and sustainable design philosophy. We are looking for
an experienced professional to join our team who has the talent, drive and passion for sustainable architecture.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or Master degree in architecture with proven hands-on experience as a strong Project
Manager. We are seeking a candidate who will embrace our dedication to high-performance in both small and large projects with a
passion and hands-on experience in designing sustainable and green projects.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor or Master degree in architecture
● 3-7 or more years of architecture project management experience from design to completion.
● Strong working knowledge with REVIT, AutoCAD and Bluebeam.
● Experience with Sketch Up and/or graphic design software is a plus, but not required.
● Proven hands-on experience in designing and implementing sustainable and green projects
● Strong leadership skills to be able to work independently or as a collaborative team member.
● Must have strong, hands-on understanding of the construction process, and be able to lead the preparation of construction
documents and the integration of the drawings with sub-contractors through completion of projects.
● Must be able to manage budgets and adhere to tight schedules and deadlines.
● Must be knowledgeable in municipal, building codes and requirements for approvals and be able to determine and oversee
that all such requirements are met.
● Strong technical, written and verbal communication skills required.
● LEED certification and/or experience, a plus.

Responsibilities:

● Lead and facilitate the project delivery and documentation process during the SD, DD and CD phases.
● Lead in-house design team and/or design projects independently from initial consultation through design development and
construction.
● Ensure all projects are accurately planned, budgeted, scheduled and in conformance with the intended design as well as with
all municipal and building codes and requirements.
● Develop detailed project schedules and communicate key deliverable dates to the project team.
● Oversee projects from design and approval phases, while working closely with subcontractors and suppliers through the build.
● Identify new business opportunities while developing current client relationships.
● Participate in selected marketing and business development opportunities.
● Identify and propose technical solutions to design challenges.

Additional Qualifications desired:

● NYS Licensed Architect
● 10+ years architecture project management experience from design to completion.
● Strong knowledge and project integration of the NYS Building Code and ADA requirements.

About the Role

We are seeking an Architecture Project Manager who is able to fully collaborate with all aspects of design and construction sequence. You will manage projects from early concept through construction, ensuring that design vision and execution remain aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with clients to lead projects through design, construction phases and documentation
  • Coordinate and collaborate with consultants, contractors and fabricators
  • Manage project schedules, budgets and maintain clear communication – both internal and external
  • Create design decisions using building science and performance principles

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • 3-7 years of architecture project management experience from design to completion
  • NYS Registered Architect or on licensure path
  • Strong working knowledge with REVIT, AutoCAD and Bluebeam
  • Solid understanding of construction methods and detailing
  • Familiarity with New York State codes, approvals, permitting processes and ADA requirements
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in sustainable, high-performance, or low-energy design
  • Experience in residential and Commercial architecture
  • LEED or similar credentials a plus
